Digg Dug By Nintendo Infringement
The social news site Digg was dug by the attorney
for Nintendo with a Cease and Desist letter. Apparently
on April Fool's Day Digg decided to pull a little
joke on reader and put Nintendo's Mario running amuck
all over the social new site.
This didn't impress Nintendo as they cried fowl and
ordered Digg to take down Mario and put him back into
his rightful place inside a PSP. But, did had their
laugh as April Fool's Day only lasts one day a year
and decided to keep Mario doing what they were doing.
According to Digg's Kevin Rose, "What are they
gonna do, sue us? We're giving them free advertising.
I think because of this lawsuit I'm going to change
the whole look and feel of Digg and lose 30-percent
of my traffic in one day. That will show 'em!"
