Genetically Modified Fruit Grown
with UPC Code
In this strange but true story, scientists have finally
been able to genetically alter fruit to the point
where it is grown with the proper UPC code attached.
This saves many steps from the time Mr. Tally Man
tallies a banana to the time it arrives in the grocery
store.
The UPC code is grown right into the skin of the
fruit. So far the botanist at the Silverton Botanical
Laboratory in Hoopoe, California has been able to
modify bananas, apples, pears and oranges.
The fruit even defy degradation as they age as the
UPC codes remain readable. The fruit industry as we
know it is about to have a revolution!
