Zero Emissions Zeppelins from American
Airlines
In a stunning and unexpected move, American Airlines
has just announced that they will replace transatlantic
service from the U. S. with zero emission zeppelins.
The AA zeppelins will be completely solar powered
and are manufactured from recycled parts meaning a
low carbon footprint as well.
The LZ-2 airships as they are being called involve
25 years of development by Boeing and its partner
company. The maiden flight of the American Airlines
zeppelin was from New York to Helsinki, Finland and
it was made without incident.
The AA zeppelin is considered a luxury airliner as
it has a restaurant, bar and 18-hole Frisbee golf
course. Oh, the humanity!
